Service Description: This dataset depicts stream reaches of Coastal Cutthroat Trout (Oncorhynchus clarkii clarkii) distribution, derived from a companion documented occurrence dataset, as well as reaches where professional biologists have provided input where they believe this subspecies exist (professional judgement reaches). Distribution data are based on point observations of CCT as compiled by the Coastal Cutthroat Trout Interagency Committee and the PSMFC GIS Center. All positive observations of CCT are traced completely downstream to create this distribution. Note that this assumes all observations have downstream access, but not necessarily upstream access (due to barriers or other factors). The data have been collected as part of the ongoing Coastal Cutthroat Trout Interagency Committee's rangewide assessment for the species. Note that the data published are only for areas with completed or upcoming Coastal Cutthroat Trout workshops and that these data should be considered draft in nature until the assessment is completed.
